Environmental Education

We primarily offer information about the stag beetle (Lucanus cervus), but we also want to introduce you to other areas of environmental education in an entertaining way.

Target groups: All, especially schools, kindergartens, We send out flyers, award diplomas and inform the public.

Target groups: Schools, clubs, private groups, administrations, etc. We visit you with our equipment or just for a lecture.

Target groups: Private individuals, associations, schools, municipalities. Do you want to promote the stag beetle in your garden or village? Does a nest need to be saved?

Target groups: Anyone who wants to protect stag beetles, or maybe needs to. Our four-legged employee Luca is happy to help with the question: Where does the stag beetle live?

Target groups: All who are interested, only with registration, also as a framework program for excursions. Lectures, hike: We will put together a program for you.

We collect data and are constantly working on scientific issues. Ask us, maybe we have an interesting topic.

We also work with the other xylobiont large beetles like:

• Cerambyx cerdo
• Oryctes nasicornis
• Osmoderma eremita

as well as the legal basis for the protection of these species.

Gerne würden wir das alles umsonst machen, unser Verein hilft und unterstützt, wo es nur irgendwie geht. Dennoch brauchen auch wir weitere Unterstützung. Fahrtkostenerstattung, Materialaufwand oder ein Spende (Spendenquittung möglich) helfen uns dann weiter.

Wir beachten die gesetzlichen Vorschriften und beraten Sie darüber. Wir sind personell derzeit noch sehr knapp ausgestattet und insbesondere während der Hirschkäferzeit oft ausgebucht.

Wir bieten viele unserer Veranstaltungen deshalb auch über das Jahr an und planen Termine deshalb länger im Voraus. Außentermine finden natürlich in der Entfernung irgendwo Grenzen, anderseits reisen wir auch mal gerne, sind neugierig auf neue Hirschkäferstandorte und bei entsprechendem Vorlauf kann man manches bewegen, fragen Sie einfach nach!
